I bumped into a colleague the other day and as we were talking she asked me if I had another business? When I looked surprised, we realized she wasn’t clear on the name of my company or all the services I offer. Do all of your customers know all you do? Could your customers explain your services to others in a way that entices more customers to either buy from you or refer you?

Take a few moments and ask the people you serve if they could explain what you do. You might want to do a quick survey using survey monkey. We assume people know what we do; our unique selling proposition. If they don’t you need to address that quickly to make sure you aren’t losing customers. You never want people to say “I didn’t know you could do that”!
