A colleague once told me she went to law school and learned law but she didn’t learn HOW to be a lawyer and she certainly didn’t learn business!

We all have our professions and expertise, as Michael Gerber says in The E-Myth Revisited we are technicians in our fields.  How do we make our businesses grow or even maintain?  You may read books, talk to colleagues and friends, go to seminars or ideally hire a consultant/advisor who can objectively look at your current situation and help you plan ways to achieve the business growth you want

When was the last time you reviewed goals or did a SWOT?  Have you assessed customer needs?  Do you keep customers?  How are your employees?  Are they engaged in the business or marking time?  Then there is marketing; do you know your   target market and how to reach them before your competitors?

Head swimming??? Concerned you can’t do it all?  Relax this is called planning and as I often say eating the elephant one bite at a time.

Not sure where to start?  Look at the e-books  or sign up for a session.  Whatever you do start somewhere!  Your business will thank you
