It’s Sunday evening, I’m sitting in my office looking at the lake, listening to the ducks, and enjoying the beautiful breeze trying to figure out what to write on this blog. Suddenly a word comes to me; no joke, inspiration. The question then becomes what inspires you to do what you do?
We all have altruistic theories about helping people and making the world better etc.. I do enjoy what I do. Being able to solve problems with my clients and help them move forward is an amazing high. Helping them figure out the changes that will increase revenue and help them expand or even love their business again is great. Giving people the chance to explore new talents and become more than they thought they could be is a definite wow.
Having a business that allows me to do that and enjoy the lake and all the environs; now that is what inspires me to keep doing what I do. Traveling for assignments is also inspiring, so is the opportunity to meet so many amazing people.
