Belief

I just finished watching the 1st season of Game of Thrones which I was introduced to by Chellie Campbell www.chellie.com.  There were many themes including the ones that generated the “r” rating.  One of the ones that intrigued me was about a woman who was sold to a tribe to be their queen and the hope that this tribe would restore the dragons.  (You had to see it).  She believed despite everything that the dragons existed and would return.  Her belief, in the end, was justified.

Why am I telling you this? What do you believe in at all cost? Do you believe in yourself and your business?  Do you believe you will succeed and no matter what you will thrive?

I listened to my client today who has turned into Eeyore (from Winnie the Pooh) saying it won’t work nothing he does is right; you get the idea; and yes his business is in trouble. My job is helping him get his beliefs back and know that the company will thrive and he will succeed.  I know there are days we all question what we are doing and why but we keep doing it because we know in our gut and in our heart that we are on the right path and we will succeed no matter what.

How do you keep that message burning in you?  What keeps you moving forward?  For me and for my clients it’s making sure the values of the business are aligned with our values and goals and finding every resource and every tool we can use to achieve our mission.  We believe we are doing what we are meant to do and we are following our passion.  Are you following yours?
